A: You can buy a Body Opponent Bag (BOB) by going here: www.centurymartialarts.com Q: What is in the base of the BOB/Bag? A: It is filled with around 270lbs of all-purpose sand. Q: What stretches are best for this kick? A: This kick requires moderate front splits flexibility. You do not have to have a full front split to execute this kick effectively, but the more front split flexibility you have, the easier it is to perform this kick. Q: What part of the foot do you hit with? A: You strike with the bottom or outer knife edge of the heel. Your toes will often angle out off to the side of your target and may hit during or immediately after your heel makes contact. After you have delivered the bulk of the force with the heel, you can use the rest of your foot to push off of your target to help recoil your leg back into place. Just remember to make sure you aim with the heel and deliver the bulk of the force with the heel, not the with the ball or toes. Do NOT be in a rush to re-chamber your leg before you have delivered the full amount of force of the kick. Tip: Once you are used to the basic movements, you can start adding a slight skip
